A Starting Point
Why should young students get opportunities before they have experience?
Today, during a conversation with a young student interested in space biology, I was asked a question that stayed with me:
“Why do you give opportunities to freshers and students who have no experience yet?”

My answer is simple.
Because everyone needs a starting point.
This is one of the reasons we started SHe In Space.
We believe accessibility to the space industry should not depend only on having the right degree, experience, or connections.
Students bring something incredibly valuable: curiosity, creativity, fresh ideas, and the willingness to explore questions that others may overlook. They may not have years of experience yet. But give them the right environment, mentorship, and one real opportunity and they can start building something meaningful.
We want SHe In Space to be that starting point.
A place where a student can take their first step into the space ecosystem, meet people, learn from experts, work on ideas, and gradually build the confidence and foundation to pursue a career in space. Because sometimes, you don't need to be ready for the opportunity.
You need the opportunity to become ready.
If you're a student who wants to explore the space industry, start somewhere. And if you're already part of the industry, consider giving a young person their first opportunity.
Someone's first step could become their future in space.
